Yeah, I would. I liked Farmville :)
I would never spend money on it but it might stop others from spending money on it - not fair to take our money that way, not fair its aimed at kids as well as adults.
They might still play, but cut off all those spammy messages and spending money - that would be OK, but hell, what a low-down thing to plan to do in the first place!

No, I wouldn't. I don't know many people that play those games and I never have myself. I'm more annoyed by the offers and pestering than anything.
The fact is, that the people that play those games aren't going to care. I believe they're probably a little addicting just like everything else out there and telling them the scammy facts won't change anything. They'll still play it and the games will continue to be as popular if not more.
After reading the article though I do find it a bit sleazy, even moreso that he's bragging about it. It will be an interesting conversation piece at the family gathering, but like I said, not going to change anything.

Whatever, I still would tell my friends but I would remind them not to buy credits or avoid entering their credit cards! I have a farm ville but I don't get scammed! I don't buy credits, I just work hard to level up. It's just my free time I'm investing and I am enjoying it! Farmville rocks!
