If you have been attempting to become pregnant for a year, monitoring your basal temperature, and still have not become pregnant, it is time to consult doctors. Your partner's sperm viability can be checked as well as having your gynecologist check you. Also, it may not be an issue of fertility, but rather an issue of implantation. That is also something that your gynecologist or a fertility expert can investigate and discuss with you.

If you have only been trying to become pregnant for a few months, and if you were on birth control pills previously, it may take a while for your body to completely rid itself of the chemicals.
