Conundrum Next Conundrum
If you had a critically ill child who needed major medical attention and you would not be able to financially support this procedure...
... would you put your pride aside and ask for contributions from people in your community? (Assume your child needed a life-saving surgery or was diagnosed with childhood cancer).

Yes, I would definitely ask for help to pay for the procedure for my child. Anyone who is a parent knows how special their children are to them and if it means that I have to swallow my pride and beg, yes I would do it. The health of my child means more to me than my stupid pride.

Yes, it would definitely do it. People's lives are much more valuable than pride, and for my child, I would grovel and lick people's boots if I have to. I know that it won't come to that though. People are usually very understanding and sympathetic if we have a sick child and we need their help. You might be surprised to find people you think don't care will show their sympathy and offer to help at that time. I think this is one of the reasons that we should always help each other. Every one of us has their bad days and by supporting each other, we would feel more secure and safe.

I would go to the Hospital and have them figure some type of Government assistance but I would definately have fundraisers for his benefit and anything else necessary to save him including selling everything I own. Nothing is worth more than their life.
