Yes absolutely.... and we should use the infinite pile of money we have to pay for it.

At the end of the day any healthcare system will have the problem of striking the balance between paying for individual care and not bankrupting itself. If the same Million dollars could save the life of 5000 people or 1 person can we really say its justified in saving that single person at the expense of the others?

The biggest problem here isn't the cost of the drugs as much as it is that we question if we should treat someone that those drugs could save. When did saving the life of a person become less important compared to the cost of drugs?

Until we start putting saving a life first again we will always be control by the cost of doing it. There shouldn't be a concern about cost when a person's life hangs in the balance.
