This site was pretty good, I tried it a few months ago. It keeps it simple and has a few animated images to help keep it basic...

Youtube is probably your best bet. I used this exact video to learn: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFb_-GyleJA
There are many other videos and you should be able to find one that helps you. You will find videos for different patterns as you get better too.
