Answered Conundrum Next Conundrum
How important would a healthy neighborhood environment (i.e. walking and bicycle paths, parks, etc) be to your next move?
When planning on moving to a new neighborhood you should not only research the best properties based on schools, taxes or commute but also dedicate some thought to what associated factors may benefit your health. Are there plenty of opportunities to run, walk, bike, or engage in other sports activites? A current study has shown that neighborhoods that allow residents to engage in health promoting activities actually lower the risks of getting diabetes or becoming obese. How important would such factors be to you?

I have actually wanted to retire to an old farmhouse out in the country for many years now, but can't get me wife to buy into the idea, so please don't tell her that it might be more healthy to stay in the sub-division where we live with sidewalks and bike/walking trails and parks. Besides, I can't believe I'd get less exercise on my Mini-farm, would I?
The truth is that I told my wife I wanted to buy a camper and retire to the middle of a national forest somewhere, which is when she told me she hoped I would enjoy that very much. So I compromised to moving from our crowded sub-division to the country. Still no go. At least I can take some comfort in knowing that I might be living a healthy life style here in suburbia, right?

My family and I just moved last month here in our neighborhood. Honestly, I decided to choose our new neighborhood because I saw that it really has a good environment. It is clean and organize, I love the park, the club house itself which has lots of facilities.
It also caught my attention because it has a stylish swimming pool, if I'm not mistaken it belongs to a class of
fiberglass pools. Well, I do love swimming because it is a part of my exercise also. I think it will be my favorite spot.
Though we are not yet still staying for long here, I am already loving the place.
