If I had to share an apartment with someone else, I would look for someone who has a work schedule opposite mine. I enjoy my privacy and alone time. So if my roommate worked nights and I worked days, then we would each have a little more privacy.

Stability is another issue I have when looking for a roommate. If they are jumping from job to job then it is only natural for me to feel like there would be times that they will be short on expenses for the apartment leaving me with the whole responsibility.

Another issue I have is cleanliness. I don't have to have my home perfectly clean but i will not live in grossness.

One more thing for me. I don't like walking out of my room from sleeping to find an almost naked man that I don't know hanging around the hallway.
