Wow. That is truly tacky. I would seriously question the character of anyone who felt the need to embarrass someone they had wronged, when announcing news. That is also rather stupid, as fault in dissolving a marriage is a legal issue when it comes to dividing common property and establishing things like alimony and palimony.
I understand that a lot of people think that theirs is the great American love story, and that everyone is going to find it charming, dashing, and lovely, but the fact is, people like that lack class. They are tactless, clueless and crude. I can't imagine someone actually bragging about being a cheater. If I saw a friend marrying someone like that, I don't think I would be able to help reminding them that "once a cheater, always a cheater" didn't become common language for nothing.
