Is it fair for a friend to ask me to delete his newly ex-girlfriend on Facebook?

My friend just broke up with his girlfriend of two years and wants me to delete her from my friends list so I can't relay any information about her to him. She and I have mutual friends and I wouldn't mind keeping in touch, plus I'm going to feel weird when she finds out I deleted her. Seems a little high-schoolish. And yet, I'm way closer to my friend and don't want to upset him...

yes definitely, she was his girlfriend to begin with, and now she is his EX, you have no bisiness having her on your facebook. I assume that you friend was the reason you got introduced to her and not vice versa.
