Yes of course. :) It's not really like eavesdropping on his/her life because it's posted for everyone to see anyway so it's okay. It's the blogger's choice to post things online which means, anyone can read it. I own a personal blog online too and although it's like a compilation of some things that happens to me, I just write in the stuffs I want to share. It's the same with other bloggers. They had it published online because they want to share.

There are lots of good personal blogs out there that I read and follow too. I learn different lessons from them that I could apply on my own life as well. I pick up great advices that I can share to some other friends. I've met some of those bloggers I follow online and talk to them lots of times too. They seem to feel happy whenever someone likes or compliments their blog... I feel the same way too whenever someone drops a message saying they like my blog (though my blog's not really that good, lol).

So that's it, there's really no problem with following a particular personal blog. You can follow mine too if you want ;)

I enjoy http://secretlifeofabionerd.blogspot.com/ very much. Watching her grow and become successful. It's better than weekly TV, trust me!

Of course. Some of the most best blogs I read are personal ones. True life really is more interesting than fiction. If someone didn't want you reading their blog they would write in a diary.

Sure. The author wouldn't have put it out there for public consumption if they didn't want strangers to read it. In fact, I think most bloggers would be flattered that a stranger found their writing compelling enough to follow.

Well, I think it's just okay to follow someone's personal blogs as long as I can prove that what s/he is saying is true. For example, if s/he says s/he is earning in a certain website, which is very common now, I would read his/her blog first, get the site and then I'll find the reviews for the site in order to know if it's legitimate or scam.

I follow several blogs of people I don't personally know. Most are writers that I have come across and I like their writing so I follow all their blogs. I don't see how anyone could object when it's there for anyone to find.

There are several blogs I read that I stumbled onto and have no clue who they are. But their blog is entertaining.

Yes, a blog after all is meant to be shared, and if you find the blog to be interesting why not? It is not like you are reading a personal diary complete with lock

Definitely. In fact, most bloggers want people to subscribe to their RSS feed and come back. If someone is posting something online that is not meant to be shared, I'd question why they were doing that in the first place.

sure I think it is fine. having a variety of people in your life (even if its a blog of a stranger) will make life more interesting. It relieves boredom, stress and if you are a writer it might inspire you.
