Women: What are the reasons you have sex?

CNN has reported that women have sex for hundreds of different reasons ranging from pure pleasure to duty to pain relief! Amazing story! So, ladies, what are YOUR reasons??? ;-)

Well.. I could name many reasons why I "indulge" :

1. Physical Pleasure
2. To Relax
3. To relieve cramps
4. To get to SLEEP on nights when I have insomnia
5. For intimacy
6. To relieve pent up frustration
7. To enhance my health, invigorate and rejuvenate body and mind

I mean, sex is a remedy for numerous physical, psychological and spiritual reasons and I think everyone should INDULGE whenever the need to , be it w/a partner, alone or w/the help of some great aids/toys !

These are MY personal reasons, but I found a great article about a study done of over 1000 women who came up with an unbelievable 237 reasons !!! The second link is the actual list of 237 reasons !The second link lends a different HUMOROUS perspective about women having sex for all the WRONG reasons ! Enjoy !

• This is a great answer and I love the list of all the reasons you do "it"! I've been hearing about this book that lists the 237 reasons women have sex everywhere: on the radio, on TV, on the internet...everywhere! I had a lot of fun reading the answers I got from this question! Thanks for such a specific answer! :)

To be totally honest most times I am to tired to even think about sex. I have sex because I can't stand that sad crestfallen look my husband gets when I tell him no. I'm always glad I did after the fact because we have a good time but it's overcoming the fatigue and getting to that point that is troublesome.

I have the hormones of a 19 year old kid. I'm horny. I love sex - almost everything about it! I'm not into pain and all that, though. Just a good time. The lady who said she never thinks about it should consider changing her day so that she's not too tired. Ten years will go by and the relationship will be failing. Besides, it's healthy! :)
