Is this really the worst seasonal job?
This article is about a male perfume pusher. I'm wondering though if this really is the worst seasonal job? Depending upon the man, they may enjoy selling perfume. A man may be comfortable enough with his own masculinity or may enjoy flirting with the women with whom he is pitching, or may have other reasons for enjoying the perfume sales position.
Now, lets assume that the man does not enjoy the position but still needs to make a living.
One of my favorite quotes says "I cried because I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet." In my opinion, a man may or may not enjoy a job as a perfume sales person, but at least he has a job. Many people are not that fortunate, particularly in this economy. So, to answer your question, something that is worse is to have no job at all. I am sure there are other less desirable jobs as well such as shoveling reindeer droppings, holiday garbage collection, and any job that forces you to work or be fired on Christmas day.

I can see his point of view. If you were a man that probably would seem like the worst seasonal job. I think being a sales person in a mall or discount store on Black Friday has got to be the worst seasonl job, no matter what sex you were.

Any job where you have to plumb or clean toilets trumps the worst of any other job. I bet there are seasonal toilet cleaners and plumbers. Blech.
