I think it's perfect!
As a fan of Frank Zappa and having supported the library in my home town my entire life... I think it's great!
The library is still the main community gathering place in most towns, and I see no objection to displaying all types and styles of art. The more the merrier!

The only spot that would be even better to display this bust would be at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but Cleveland is a long way from Baltimore and this is what the donators wanted.

• Good points! From what I've read, he was born in Baltimore, so I'm guessing many there will enjoy it.

On the one hand, I think a bust of Frank Zappa belongs at a musically decorated venue such as The Hard Rock Cafe! Frank Zappa is primarily a recording artist. However, I do understand that the bust was donated to the public, and the library is a public place. If Baltimore has a music center, then that would be a more logical place for the bust, surely.

On the other hand, Frank Zappa's musical lyrics are of questionable moral taste. He has one song about forceful date sodomy. I don't know how library friendly his bust really is.
