Is Steven Tyler of Aerosmith a drunk?
The radio station I'm listening too just said his drinking has become a problem for the group

Boston Herald seems to think so. The sources they used are unnamed, which is a little off-putting, but it is said that the rest of the band is refusing to work on their new album until Tyler gets back on the wagon. He was in rehab last year around this time for an addiction to painkillers, and of course as half of the "Toxic Twins" he certainly has been known to have one of the most addictive personalities in rock.
And the photo accompanying the Herald story (link below) is a pretty scary one, too; it's supposedly of Tyler looking about 81 instead of 61, in a liquor store after his recent fall off the stage that resulted in the rest of Aerosmith's summer tour being canceled...so, doesn't look particularly good.....
