Usually if I play an A minor pentatonic my hand has a tendency to return to the 5-th fret of the guitar (where the pentatonic blues scale is). If I play an E minor pentatonic my hand returns on the 12-th fret (where the pentatonic blues scale for the E minor is). This happens only when I play slow music or blues, when I play heavy metal there is not enough time for my hand to return somewhere.
