Since he is still refusing to put any of his music on iTunes it will hurt him because it will create some resentment among the fan base, may not buy any new material if it comes out.

Perhaps he will change his mind about this as well, since he changed his mind about coming out of retirement. He told one casino owner that he couldn't afford to bring him out of retirement , but turns out he could! Once he sees how things have changed in 9 years since he retired....

I didn't know he was coming out of retirement. I like his music and I like his passion for music.

I think he'll do okay, and he'll probably be more mature, refined, most 'artistic' maybe, but I don't think he'll see the super stardom that he had when he broke out years ago. Shameless, Friends in Low Places, The Thunder Rolls... down here in Texas, those songs were like all anthems, played multiple times per hour on the radio every day.

He's not going to see notoriety quite like that ever again.

I wish him well though and I look forward to new music from him!

As of right now Garth Brooks is not making any new music. He will be playing Las Vegas on weekends. I believe he will probably have sold out performances, even at $125 a seat. He has no plans to tour or make any new music until his youngest daughter, now 13, goes into college. Garth Brooks is the real deal. In my book he is right up there with the greats of all time. He has proven he is no one hit wonder. I am sure I am not alone when I hope he makes new music and does tour when his children are no longer at home.
