No way! They say that even though the dog in the photo looks like it's clawing it's way out, that the dog is fine with it. All I know, is MY dogs would not be fine with it. I know I wouldn't like to be locked in a thing that sprays water and probably soap all over me and then more water. I would be terrified and I bet they are too. What's the deal? Are dog groomers just getting lazy? :-)

I love the idea, but half an hour is *way* too long. If you could get it down to 90 seconds or so, it might be okay. Putting a dog through something like that for 30 minutes is just too mean. Can they even breathe in that thing?

I don't think so. The dog looks frightened. Besides, although dogs certainly hated to be washed, I actually enjoyed giving bath to my dogs. I see it as a part of bonding time. I get to touch my dogs with my hands, and my dogs got the chance to look pitiful and whining and knew that however they whined, we wouldn't stop. lol. It is also a chance to play splash and enjoy it without being told that we're too old to play that game. Afterward, when they're still puppies, we would blow dry their furs while they dozed on our laps. It's an incredible feeling I wish I could experience again. After they're bigger we would just let them dry themselves under the sun. They would smell clean and fresh, and I felt really satisfied with the result of my hard work.

I don't think so. I think it would be too traumatic for a dog to be put in something like this and left to it's own measures.
Most dogs do not enjoy a bath and the only thing that helps them to stay calm, is the human contact and reassurance. Locking a dog, by itself, in a box is not a good idea (even if they can still see you, you can't touch them to reassure them that everything is okay). They don't understand that they'll be okay, they are just aware of what is happening to them and it would be scary.

I would take him and if he didn't mind it go back if he did then that would be the end. I don't have a dog now but I had a pointer once and everytime the hose was on you couldn't keep him out of it. So I guess it depends on each one individually.
