If private jet travel became more feasible, popular and affordable, would you consider flying private?

Yes, DayJet went under. However, someone will be working the same business model again shortly. In only a few years, it may be possible to charter a small jet for only 20% more than it costs you to buy four or six seats on a regular flight. If you could afford it, would you pay extra? Don't forget that for domestic flights, this includes the freedom to walk on and walk off with no security check.

I believe that if prices for private chartered planes drop further, yes, I would consider it. The convenience factor alone is the most alluring feature. I've been told that most short distance chartered private airplanes are actually kind of small, that you can't even stand properly in the cabin, but I would still do it if it became slightly more affordable. As long as the price differential between a first class ticket and this option does not exceed 20-25% more.

Yes, as I will be able to fly from the County airport closer to my home and fly to destinations, which have only small airports. It will also help me to save on cab fare, save time!

Yes, I would consider it also. This would be especially convenient for people with children or anyone that's sick, which becomes a hassle and convenience when flying with a bunch of strangers. I could deal with my child without her or us annoying other passengers. I would think it would benefit people with babies as well.

Just the privacy alone would make it worth it to me.

No.... its such an environmentally damaging form of transport that it should be actively discouraged. If the price becomes lower more people will fly making it even harder to meet the targets that we need to limit climate change.

We really need to cut car travel... if we all start flying then we're all doomed.
