Answered Conundrum Next Conundrum
Do you think it's fair that Johnny Weir, one of the US figure skaters, was not invited to skate in the exhibition at Saturday's gala?

Saturday's Olympic Gala is a free skate allowing the ice skaters to let loose and exhibit their talent without having to get graded or voted on. Granted, Weir placed sixth in the skating event, which I still disagree about, but his skating is so awesome and fun to watch, he will be sadly missed.

Who knows what their reasons were for their decision but I'm sure it was "fair". They would not make a decision that could be construed as unfair or discriminatory. And if you put the question to them, the truthfulness of the answer would be only speculation. But as to fair from a "justice in the universe" perspective I think it's unfair. The most entertaining people should be allowed to entertain. He's definitely entertaining. But rest assured Johnny Weir is not going anywhere. I'm sure we will be seeing him on some televised event in the near future, and if you're lucky at an ice rink near you.
