My favorite TV show of all time is probably Star Trek, in its various incarnations. Star Trek is one of the things my husband and I have in common. A clue to our Trekieness might be the huge decoupaged poster of The Enterprise that we have hanging in our living room... I like Star Trek because it encompasses every other genre of show in a continuing storyline that is unpredictable (well, except in The Next Generation).

My favorite characters from the various incarnations: Spock, Worf, The Holographic Doctor. The Holographic Doctor is probably my favorite overall. He cracks me up!

Dr Who

This series just gets better every decade ( yep, its been around since the 60s ). I watched it as a kid, teenager and now as an adult. I've even gone back and watched lots of old episodes recently - they are funny because of the cheesy special effects but wow, what a show!

I still like the original theme and music the best - I loved the black and white effects, they used to scare me hehehehe

Actually, I recently started watching Dr. Who with the 9th doctor when it came on Syfy channel. I have to admit I really liked Chris Eccelston and was sad he only did one season. They say your first doctor is your favorite doctor. =)

True, yet regular questions are actually OK too. How would you answer if the question was . . . "Help I am stranded on an Island and I can only take one series with me! What should I take?" (Detail: assume I do not need survival education and the show is only for entertainment)

Now that is a cunundrum

There are a lot of television shows I enjoy.

When I was a kid, when there was only 1 private TV station in my country, I was crazy about Knight Rider. I really loved Kitt, the talking car. But when I watch it now, I really cringe. Well, I was an elementary school kid a while back, so liking a talking car and cheesy dialogues is fine. :)

Now, my absolutely favorite TV show is House MD. I love his wit and the personalities of all characters in the show. Aside from that I love CSI Vegas, for Grissom. I guess you’ll see that I love matter of fact, scientific guy very much, huh?

I also like Nigella’s cooking shows very much, she makes cooking seems very easy and enjoyable. I love Laura Calder too. French food seems very easy and delicious (not always strange haute cuisine food we usually think French food is all about)

Knight Rider was very popular in the U.S. as well. This may have helped "The Hoff" with his international reputation and why he thinks he helped bring down the Berlin Wall.

I've been trying to decide what my most favorite show is and I don't think I have a most favorite. I've enjoyed a lot of shows over the years. I watch mostly medical based shows so I liked St. Elsewhere, Doogie Howser, Mash, Trapper John MD, China Beach, and more recently, ER, Grey's Anatomy, and Private Pratice would all be at the top of my list.

Seriously!

You can choose a genre. I have to admit to watching my fair share of medical dramas too - from ER to Grey's and others. I'm also very partial to scifi - my few favorites there are Babylon 5 and the new Battlestar Galactica (though I admit to a fascination with the original Battlestar as well)

That's a tough question for me since I watch barely watch any movies, and make-up for it by watching a ton of TV shows on DVD, iTunes, and Netflix. I was able to narrow it down to Mad Men, The Shield, and Lost. Depending on how Mad Men and Lost eventually end they're on track to possibly surpass The Shield. If Lost lives up to the high expectations of it's sixth and final season I think it could go down as one of the best TV shows of all time.
