I first thought that Larry Platt was a barmy old man who the American Idol management let in to the audition for the entertainment. At first, I was disgusted at the management for letting an old man made a fool of himself in front of the juries. But well, I laughed. He was funny.
Then I found out he was a human right activist from Mahalo. So perhaps there is something behind the incident. Maybe Larry Platt is using American Idol to get through a message? Maybe he seeks fame so that people will pay more attention to his cause? I can’t tell for sure.

This was actually the only audition from last night I saw -- I got home late and missed all of the others but this.
I pretty much agree with Simon here. I'm deathly afraid that this is going to be a major hit. After all, how is this all that different from, say, "chicken noodle soup with a soda on the side?" And that became a semi-major hit (more major depending upon how much stock you put in YouTube hits and/or reproductions.)
I don't really see it being played on the radio except for the novelty factor, though. Radio stations have their hands full just meeting their AutoTune quota for the hour.

I do have to agree that people should pull their pants up. It's definitely better than not pulling their pants up, that's for sure. This is certainly going to be a hit; Simon nailed it. Perhaps he'll be on the X-Factor shortly (no age limit)!
