Honestly, you probably don't have anything to gain by doing this, and your boss could get in some serious trouble (possibly to the point that he isn't your boss anymore, and if that were the case, would you still have a job?). It is illegal to knowingly employ illegal immigrants, and there can be some serious fines. If you really feel like your conscience pulls you to report him, there is probably some government official who will give you a little pat on the head and check it out. But is it a serious enough offense to screw up his life? I don't cast judgment either way, but I think that's really the question you need to ask yourself.

Thats a hard one, because it wouldn't just be him it effects, the people he 'employs' will loose their jobs as well, and not all illegal immigrants are bad people, most just want to support their family and put food on the table, and it's hard to do that. If he does it with a kind heart, like helping them make money, I would just leave it alone, but if he odes it to take advantage of cheap labour, and goes through the immigrant 'employees' as often as he changes his underwear, then he is taking advantage and should be reported.

If I were you, I would first imagine what would happen to the immigrants if no one employed them. Perhaps they shouldn't have got here in the first place, but they're now here. Also, your boss is rather directly responsible for your own success if you really think about it. If for no other reason, it might make sense not to report him because he's "one of your own." Would he do the same for you?

No, it is such a unstable job they are about the only ones that do that type of work. now I'm not in favor of illegal immigration and would like to see construction sites raided and factories too, but when it comes to yard work and farming I'm more in favor of allowing the immigrant to work.

LOL, what business is it of yours? How would this benefit you? I say just leave it. The immigrant is supporting his family, your boss is getting a deal. It's a win win. Reporting him is not going to send the immigrant BACK to where he came from.

You just overheard it. What is your real proof? Yes, if you have real proof of it and going to go after your boss till he get in the hands of law and not afraid of your position in the workplace, yes, go for it. Otherwise, it is not your business. I think, you really don't like your boss.

This is one of those fork in the road type questions life throws our way.
However with the shear amount of illegal immigrants being not only abused and mistreated in the work place, and your "boss" knowingly employing them for personal gain. You should carefully look at both sides of this before taking any action. If proof presents itself you should pick one path and stick with it.

Good Night, & Good Luck
